After Easter

Two days ago, Christians across the globe celebrated the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

How one answers that question is extremely important. Jesus died and rose again so that all who believe in Him will be saved from the wages of their sin – death; and so that those same believers would live lives devoted to Him through commitment to following His highest (most important) commands.

Matthew 22:37-39 (NIV)
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.'"

The Sunday of resurrection celebration is an annual reminder of His indestructible life and our call to live in light of it. Another blessing is that we do not need to wait a whole year to celebrate again; we celebrate every Sunday as well as remember every day.
