The Qoph section of Scripture (Psalm 119:145-152) contains the record of the psalmist's calls to God. He calls and cries for God's salvation and protection. He rises early and delays sleep so that he can read and meditate upon the words of God so that he will find hope and direction. He knows that his cries will be heard, and his pleas answered. How is he so sure? We find the answer to that question in the closing words of the passage.
The psalmist knew that he was not wasting his breath because long ago he learned about God.
What did he learn about God? We discover some of the knowledge about God he gained as we read through the entirety of Psalm 119. Here are some examples . . .
When you learn about God and allow that knowledge to guide your thoughts, comfort your heart, and guide your steps, you will grow in faith, strength, and trust. You will believe that God hears your calls and listens to your cries. Keep learning about and from God. Live in light of what you learn. #ordinarylives
