Thirteen months ago, my book, The Ordinary Way, hit bookshelves in stores and online. While the past year has been far from ordinary, it has provided great opportunities to live our everyday, ordinary lives for Christ. Many people have been home more thus providing time for practice in using everyday, ordinary family and around-the-house activities in a way that honors God. The opportunity presented itself to use technology in a God-pleasing way. If you chose wisely in regard to your usage, you "Zoomed" friends and Facetimed family. If you chose in a way that was less than wise, you spent far too much time on your devices. Now for many of us, our days are becoming more like the "old" ordinary. People are back to work, engaged in schoolwork, and talking to their neighbors. While online church continues, more and more are going back to in-person worship. I encourage you, as things return to what they were before, to commit to making some things different. Be more intentional in living your everyday, ordinary life for God. Do so in such ways as . . .
During this time of mixture of ordinary and not-so-ordinary, use it all to the glory of God.
