Two days ago, Rabbit Creek Church gathered for a spectacular celebration of the resurrection of Jesus. He is risen! He is risen indeed!
How long does the honeymoon of the Easter celebration last for you? Are you still celebrating? Does the joy of the Resurrection continue to thrill your soul? Does the truth that Jesus overcame the grave make you brave?
Or has the new car smell faded away? Perhaps the stresses of Monday have clouded your Tuesday. The sunrise of Sunday is difficult to recall.
I urge you to reflect intentionally on the news of the empty tomb. Allow the victory of Jesus to take hold of your thoughts so that you think upon good things.
Meditate on the grace and mercy available to you because Jesus bore the wages of your sin (mine, too). Recall the songs you sang with your church family two days ago. Google the lyrics and focus on the messages within. Replay (in your mind or on YouTube) the teaching from Sunday and reread the sermon's Scripture passages. Pray to your Father, asking Him to bring to your mind the truths you need to rehear.
When you do these actions, you can experience a delightful déjà vu. Relive Easter today. Experience the joy all over again.
