May is a month of celebrations. Students celebrate the arrival of Summer Break. Seniors enjoy the completion of education endeavors. Families honor the role of mothers. Americans honor those service men and women who died for our country. In the Goodman house, we celebrate two birthdays in May. Tents begin to pop up, and RVs take to the open roads. Hot dogs and marshmallows cook over fires as their campsite chefs carry on family traditions. Few people succumb to boredom during the fifth month. With all the celebrations and changes to routine in May, the time is perfect for reflection on what really matters. Breaks, graduations, special tributes, camping, and outdoor cooking are wonderful events and special calendar moments. As those events and moments enter your weeks, commit to continuing the practice of things that could get lost in the summer shuffle if we are not alert.
